Product Description

What is OKAPI Mash Grain-Free Breathing Comfort?

Mash has been used in horse feeding for generations, particularly at times when horses needed a nutritious and easily digestible meal. Traditionally, it was often given after strenuous exercise or during periods when additional nutritional support was needed.

OKAPI Mash Grain-Free Breathing Comfort has been specially developed as a grain-free addition to the daily ration. It combines gently dried permanent grassland forage with linseed and carefully selected herbs including thyme, marshmallow root, black cumin, peppermint and cistus.
The result is a tasty, fibre-rich mash that is particularly suitable during changes in the weather, periods of high humidity or stress – and is completely grain-free.

How do I calculate the correct dosage for my horse?

To calculate the appropriate amount of OKAPI Mash Grain-Free Breathing Comfort for your horse, follow these steps:

1. Determine your horse’s weight

The weight can be established by weighing, measuring with a tape, or by using apps such as the free BCI App from Sanoanimal (available inGoogle Play und the Apple Store).

2. Use the feeding recommendation as your starting point

The general recommendation refers to a 600 kg horse. The suggested daily amount is 350 g.

3. Adjust the amount to your horse’s weight
