How we ship

Careful packing, quick dispatch

Every order placed on okapi-shop.com is packed with care and dispatched as quickly as possible. We work with established couriers to make sure your OKAPI products arrive fresh and in perfect condition.

Order processing: Orders received before 2:00 pm on a working day (Mon–Fri) are usually dispatched the same or next working day. For orders paid by bank transfer, dispatch begins once payment has been received.

UK Mainland

England, Wales and most of Scotland. Standard tracked delivery via our courier partner.

3–6 working days

Scottish Highlands & Islands

Including the Western Isles, Orkney and Shetland. Surcharge may apply for some postcodes.

Orders — for shipping to Northern Ireland and Ireland, please contact us at info@okapi-shop.com for a quote. Customers based in Germany or other EU countries can order directly from www.okapi-online.de.

Transparent, weight-based pricing

Shipping costs are calculated based on the destination and the total weight of your order. The exact amount is shown at checkout before you confirm your order.

Important notes

How we package your order

To make sure your products arrive in perfect condition, we follow a few practical rules when packing:

Maximum parcel weight: 20 kg. Heavier orders are split into multiple parcels.

Lick bowls: A maximum of two lick bowls are sent per parcel to prevent damage in transit.

18 kg packs: All 18 kg packs (including OKAPI Sainfoin) are always sent in a separate parcel due to their weight.

If your order is split across multiple parcels, the parcels may arrive on different days — please don't worry, this is normal.

Delivery address & missed deliveries

Help us get it right first time

Please make sure that the delivery address you provide is complete and correct, including any house name, flat number, or stable yard reference. We are unable to take responsibility for delays caused by incorrect or incomplete address information.

If no one is available to receive the parcel, our courier partner will normally leave a card with instructions for redelivery or pick-up at a local depot. If a parcel is returned to us as undeliverable, we will contact you to arrange a re-shipment; additional shipping costs may apply.
